1. Introduction & Who We Are

NAJ Shipping ("NAJ", "we", "us", or "our") provides vehicle export, towing, and logistics services connecting the American automotive market with Cambodia. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in the NAJ Shipping application, which is available on iOS, Android, and the web (the same account works across all platforms).

The app lets our customers track their vehicles and shipments, view auction and port status, container tracking, invoices, payments, towing details, and notes/announcements. Our website is https://najshipping.com.

2. Accounts Are Issued by NAJ (No In-App Registration)

There is no self-registration or sign-up inside the app. Customers are registered offline when they do business with NAJ. Our staff create each account and provide the customer with login credentials.

The app only authenticates an existing account (username and password) and then keeps a session token to keep you signed in. Because there is no sign-up flow, the app does not collect new personal data at registration — the information we hold comes from your existing offline business relationship with NAJ.

3. What Data We Collect and Handle

Account & identity

Your username, customer name, and contact details — as already held by NAJ from your offline relationship with us.

Authentication

Login credentials are transmitted over HTTPS. After you log in, a session token (JWT) is stored securely on your device using the platform's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). This token is not shared with third parties.

Business / shipment data shown in the app

This data originates from NAJ's own records and may include: vehicles (VIN, make/model, lot), auction and port/stage status, container numbers and tracking, ETAs, invoices and amounts, payments and balances, towing details, vehicle photos, chat notes and personal notes, and announcements/notifications.

Generated files

Invoices and reports can be saved or shared by you (PDF/Excel) using your device's standard share/save sheet.

External links

The app may open third-party tracking links (for example, Maersk container tracking) in your browser. Those sites are governed by their own privacy policies.

Usage & platform data (planned feature)

We are adding a session/platform monitoring feature that records which platform each customer uses (iOS, Android, or Web) along with basic usage/analytics data — such as platform/app type, app version, and session activity. This Usage Data (which may include a device or platform identifier) is tied to your customer account and is processed on NAJ's own systems. We use it to understand platform usage and improve the service.

4. How and Why We Use Your Data

  • Service delivery: to authenticate you and show your vehicles, shipments, invoices, payments, towing, and notifications.
  • Customer support: to respond to your requests and resolve issues.
  • Analytics & platform usage: to understand which platforms customers use and to improve the app's performance and reliability.

All network traffic runs over HTTPS to NAJ's own server (najshipping.com). The app uses standard encryption only.

5. How Your Data Is Stored & Protected

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. The session token is stored in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Business data is held on NAJ's own backend systems with access limited to authorized staff.

6. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use advertising SDKs.

  • Hosting/backend: NAJ's own server (najshipping.com).
  • App distribution: Apple App Store / TestFlight and Google Play. These stores may collect standard analytics and crash data subject to their own policies — see Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

Notifications are fetched from NAJ's own API; we do not use a third-party push provider. If this changes, we will update this policy.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and business records for as long as your relationship with NAJ is active and as needed to provide our services and meet legal, accounting, and operational requirements. You can ask us to review or delete data that we are no longer required to keep by contacting info@najshipping.com.

8. Children's Privacy

The NAJ Shipping app is intended for NAJ's business customers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your Rights & How to Exercise Them

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may ask questions about how we process it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@najshipping.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

10. International Users & Applicable Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. If you access the app from outside Cambodia, you understand your information will be processed on NAJ's systems as described above. We aim to meet reasonable GDPR and CCPA expectations for the data we handle.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be communicated through the app or by other appropriate means.
